Family[]
Shinra Shirazakura[]
Shinra is Kotoba's father who she highly respects and loves. She constantly worries about her father's well-being especially in regards to his standing with the Hiiragi family, making her work extra hard in order to lessen the burdens on her father's shoulders (this is revealed to be the result of Sakae Ichinose's death which frightens Kotoba). She is shown to have a wonderful father-daughter relationship with Shinra.
Inori Shirazakura[]
Inori was Kotoba's mother who died after giving birth to Kotoba due to her weak body. Because of this, Kotoba grew up without knowing what kind of mother Inori was but that didn't stop her from thinking of her mother fondly.
Hanako Shirazakura[]
Hanako was one of Kotoba's ancestors and the founder of the Order of the Imperial Flowers. Kotoba greatly respects Hanako's name and she looks up to her as an inspiration.
Hyakuya Sect[]
Sen Kuromatsu[]
Sen is one of Kotoba's comrades in the duration of his 'special mission'. At first, Kotoba never liked Sen because of his blunt and laid back personality which often clashes with her perfectionist side. But as they continue to work together, they eventually became close especially after sharing what they have in common. However, Kotoba's feelings for Sen are put into the test after finding out that he was part of Hyakuya Sect which in turn makes her feel betrayed and hurt. They reconcile and become a couple afterwards with Sen promising to be with Kotoba's side no matter what.
Ren Kuromatsu[]
Ren is Sen's younger brother. Unlike with Sen, Kotoba is completely afraid of Ren due to Ren's mental instability and obsession of the Hyakuya Sect.
Japanese Imperial Demon Army[]
Kureto Hiiragi[]
Kureto is the Lieutenant General of JIDA and is also Kotoba's superior officer who she takes direct orders from. Kotoba has a high respect for him and is extremely loyal to him. She doesn't hesitate to accept her mission to go to Nagano instead of being together with the others in Nagoya. It's unknown whether she still keeps this even after being effectively defected from JIDA.
